Mühlner Motorsport looks back with pride on a very successful 2025 Season

Francorchamps, October 14, 2025 Last weekend, the season finale of the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS, formerly VLN) brought a long and exhausting but also very successful season to a close with two podium finishes: the H&R Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (model 992) with drivers Arne Hoffmeister, David Jahn, and Tim Scheerbarth secured its seventh victory in the tenth race, sealing victory in the PETN Cup2 class, overall victory in the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring, and the runner-up spot in the ADAC Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), level on points with the champions. Another H&R Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (model 992) with Antal Zsigo and Felipe Laser finished the race in seventh place after an accident on an extremely slippery track. The H&R Cayman GT4, which competed in the Cup3 class with drivers Yannik Himmels and Kai Riemer, drove a clean race and was rewarded with second place, the third podium finish in Cup3 in the 2025 season.

Two weeks ago, Mühlner Motorsport was also very successful at the season finale of the CREVENTIC 24h Series, winning the 992 class of the 24-hour race in Barcelona with an H&R Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (model 992) in impressive fashion: fastest lap of the race and first in class after 12 hours, earning 20 extra points and victory with a 5-lap lead. This allowed Mühlner, with drivers Martin Rump, Valters Zviedris, and Julian Hanses, to move up to an excellent 3rd place in the annual standings. Barcelona 2025 was the 56th time Mühlner Motorsport had participated in a 24-hour race, but it was also a first: it was the first time that the team founder and managing director was not present at a 24-hour race himself… Martin Mühlner and the 10-strong crew did a flawless job, so there is truly no need to worry about the future of the traditional racing team.

After the race is before the race: the CREVENTIC Middle East Trophy kicks off with a 12-hour race in Sepang, Malaysia, at the beginning of December, followed by the 6 Hours of Abu Dhabi and the 24 Hours of Dubai (both UAE) in January. From there, it’s straight to Florida for the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

A comprehensive expansion of Mühlner Motorsport’s activities and a return to the international GT3 scene are planned for 2026.

“2025 was a very successful season, at least in terms of the number of wins (10) and podium finishes (16), and the two PETN championships, Cup2 and overall, are the icing on the cake. If someone had told us at the beginning of the season that we would be fighting for the NLS overall championship, we would have laughed at them. Seven race wins in the Cup2 class for one team is unprecedented… However, the fact that we are now only runners-up, tied on points with the champions, is a bit of a downer… With what I believe to be a much fairer points system in place until the 2021 season, which took into account the number of starters in the class, we would have won the championship hands down, because we competed with up to 15 participants in the class and the Champions had only half as many on average. I would advocate that the NLS/VLN return to the fairer points system that had proven itself over 40 years… We are very confident about the future; the course has been set for the long term, and our son Martin has impressively demonstrated over the past four years, since rejoining the team full-time, that he is doing a great job,” says Bernhard Mühlner, who laid the foundation for the now traditional Mühlner Motorsport racing team in 1978, 47 years ago.
